Break out the turkey! Hold on- I mean the one that gobbles and has feathers not the one that comes in the bottle. There is a lot of work that goes into a Thanksgiving meal and by the time you get finished you often are just thankful that it is over, but this little dish is easy and it was my most favorite growing up. For years we had that traditional cranberry ala can. You know that stuff you opened, sliced and put on a fancy little dish. I’m not condemning this cylindrical substance, I’m just saying let’s get festive with tart fresh cranberries blended with sweet marshmallows and a mellow tropical twist of pineapple. Serve as a side dish or even dessert with your feast.
We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you have a blessed day. And remember the most important things at the table are not the dishes of food but the family and friends gathered around.
